The "Amari"
The production of the Amari Bordiga, is made following to ancient recipes elaborated and refined over the years, using only infusions and distillates exclusively produced internally with precious spices, herbs and flowers that come mostly from the Alps surrounding areas, where the mountaineers still today forage, dry and preserve with natural methods. That's why our Amari are an exclusive, product, appreciated by connoisseurs and by those who know the philosophy of “the art of drinkingwell”.
Absynthe and Pastis
Since ancient times, anise was used by Mediterranean civilizations as an ingredient in alcoholic beverages. Sometimes anise is combined with other ingredients that characterize its taste, as is the case with the ancient, transgressive Absinthe, favorite drink of the French “poètes maudits bohemian” , or the typical, more modern Provencal Pastis born in the Occitan lands.
The Elisir
Typical liqueurs of popular culture with low alcohol content. What distinguishes Bordiga elixirs are the authenticity and quality of the raw materials that have always been used for their preparation. Excellent if drunk alone as a light digestive after a meal or for a pleasant mid-afternoon break, essential ingredients to give to many cocktails a particular touch that makes the difference by making each drink excellent.
The Syrups

The Grappe
Alkemia is a line of Grappa that collects, in the best Bordiga tradition, pure distillates of rigorously fresh pomace and grappa liqueurs. The labels are inspired by the work of Albrecht Durer: passion and rigor, study, patience and the continuous search for perfection … these are the characteristics from which the excellence of Alkemya Grappas is born and which make them unique in the world. Because every great passion is built with the heart, but above all with reason.
The Genepy
Genepy is the traditional liqueur of the Western Alps obtained from the infusion of Artemisia Mutellina flowers, which grows in the highest rocky slopes of the Maritime and Cottian Alps and which is hand picked by the mountaineers. This exceptional product with a very particular and aromatic taste, has a natural straw yellow color tending to pale green. Excellent after the meal as a digestive, or served as a thirst quencher with the addition of ice, or drunk hot with an orange zest.
Gin
When the sea air from the Mediterranean meets the mountain air from the Alps, high concentrations of essential oils give unique and extraordinary aromatic properties to the juniper, which is foraged in the Occitan Alpine Valleys of Italy. Since the last century, Bordiga has distilled the juniper handpicked in the Occitan valleys, to produce what can be called among the oldest Italian gin recipes: Gin occitan.
Vermouth
Bordiga created his first Vermouth when the business was founded in 1888. Still today in the middle of the wall of the historic distillery headquarters, there is written the words “Vermouth Bordiga”. Our is a very long tradition of excellence that is a guarantee of quality. Even nowadays, Bordiga Vermouth is presented with the label with the original image, linked to the historic recipe connected to the distant colonies of East Africa, where the rare spices used come from.
The Tincture
The tincture is an absolutely outstanding unique product. An exceptional and careful mixology of infusions and distillates, in which essential oils from the main botanical express the most all their scents and taste. A touch of creativity and professionalism appropriate for many uses in cocktails and not only. It can be used as ingredient for prestigious cocktails, it can be burn on the drink, use it in cooking to prepare special dishes and, to do tasty fingers food for the aperitivo time.
The Spirits
Since 1888, Bordiga’s philosophy has always been “a good liquor must satisfy your palate, body and mind”. For this reason, we use only the best herbs, the finest sugar, and the purest alcohol, together with crystalline water from the Alpine sources. Their combination is the result of ancient recipes from the italian tradition, which today are still realized with the same original craft methods.
The Vodka
Obtained from different raw materials rich in sugar or starch, such as cereals and potatoes, vodka has its origins in Eastern Europe, between Poland and Russia. The word vodka, in various Slavic languages, is a diminutive of the terms corresponding to English word “water”, like saying “small water”. Vodka was brought to Europe by Napoleon but its true diffusion dates back to the 1950s.
